applications for Hassan City and 56 other Karnataka cities. eGov's
mission is to bring better governance and smoother delivery of services
to the citizens in Indian cities.

2007:
Government of Karnataka has
taken decision to
Regularize the
unauthorized development or constructions. Those
who want to regularize their unauthorized constructions can
come to City Municipal Council from 10.00AM to 6.00PM and collect
the applications forms .Last date to submit the applications is on
30-06-2008.
Hassan
is situated about 196 km from Bangalore. Hassan is called
as 'Badavara
ooty ' because of its climat. In Hassan there is one
temple called Hasanamba
Temple it opens once in year so
people from all sides come and have pooja there they beleave
that
the goddess Hasanamba will bless them if they visit once other wise
they will have to face problems. Hassan has got so many
tourist places . Master
Control Facility center is also is in Hassan.
Hassan is one of
57 Karnataka cities deployed in 2005-06 the Municipal eGovernance
modules ofProperty
Tax, Financial Accounting GIS Mapping, Public Grievance
& Redressal, Birth & Death Certification, and Ward
Works.

Hassanis
located in the South Indian state of Karnataka at around 194 km from the state
capital Bangalore, Hassan extends from 13°01/’ North to 76°10/’
East. Having a very pleasant
climate throughout the year.
Being the nearest railhead to Belur, Halebid, and Shravanbelagola, Hassan is an
ideal base to explore these historical sites. The region of Hassan had been
under the control the Hoysalas from 11th to 13th century AD. It was during this
period that the great temples of Belur and Halebid were constructed. Hassan was
also greatly influenced by Jainism. It became a well-known centre of Jain
literature. Hassan also hosts the Master Control Facility of India's space
programme.

Budget:
Theannual budget of the CMC for the year 2004-05 is Rs.1114.64 lakhs.
Out of which 100.00 lakhs is proposed for capital expenses, Rs.
25.00
lakhs towards Repairs and Maintenance, Rs. 35.00 lakhs
towards New works and Rs. 40.00 lakhs towards the welfare of SC/ST. Click
